“I paint color and geometry of the human body and mathematical ideas I have carried since childhood or became obsessed with along my life. As a medium I mostly use oil on canvas, linen, or different materials like stone and metal that come in handy, in forms that are at once precise and wild, structured and free. 

I imagine that my painting is for people who look at the world and want more than what is given, who reach, instinctively, for the deeper pattern beneath things, or layers above.

Through painting I feel connected to the world, to myself, to something larger. And awe is not a side effect, it is the whole point.”
