Genu Berlo is a Romanian-American artist, who lives and works in Bucharest and occasionally New York City. He was born in Bucharest 1975. His studies include fine arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC, architecture and mathematics at the University of Bucharest. For over a decade he worked as design architect for NYC architectural firms, including Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.

Since 2012, Genu Berlo has been painting in his own artist studio in Bucharest. His work has been the subject of solo shows and group exhibitions at galleries such as Vimana, Palatul Brancovenesc Mogosoaia, Atelier030202, Galeriile Grumazescu, Galateca, Contempora and Orion, in Bucharest and other Romanian cities, and museums as the National Museum of Maps in Bucharest or  The Clock Museum Nicolae Simache, Ploiești. Artworks can be found in private collections in US, Canada, Europe, Switzerland, Romania, Australia and Japan.
